The Steiner Academy Hereford will once again open its doors to the public for its much-loved Advent Fair on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 November 2025 at the school in Much Dewchurch.
A highlight of the local festive calendar the Advent Fair brings together families friends and the wider community for two days of creativity craftsmanship and Christmas cheer all in support of the school.
On Friday evening (6.30–8.30pm) adults can enjoy browsing a curated selection of artisan stalls in a relaxed atmosphere whilst sipping a mulled wine; the perfect way to start the festive season!
The celebrations continue on Saturday (11am–4pm) with a family day full of hands-on activities workshops and entertainment for all ages. Children can visit the Snow Queen’s magical grotto make beeswax candles decorate gingerbread or enjoy storytelling sessions. Wreath-making workshops hearty seasonal food and homemade cakes will add to the festive spirit.
Visitors can browse a beautiful array of handcrafted gifts – from pottery jewellery and textiles to toys and festive decorations – all crafted by local artisans and small independent makers.
Run entirely by volunteers the Advent Fair raises vital funds for the school while offering a welcoming family-friendly celebration that reflects the warmth and creativity of the Steiner community.
