ACADEMY DAY MALIBU FEATURING THE BRAD GILBERT TENNIS EXPERIENCE
Welcome to ACADEMY DAY MALIBU! Join us for an action packed, unforgettable day of tennis featuring our elite coaches at the Ralphs Strauss Tennis Center , the home of Pepperdine University's tennis program. We have put together an awesome opportunity for players of all levels to take a great tennis lesson from the coach who guided Agassi, Roddick, Murray, and Gauff to Grand Slam Titles- Brad Gilbert. All of our players will get meaningful, digestible instruction, hit a lot of balls, have the opportunity to demo racquets, get a little better, and interact with people from all over that share your love of the fuzzy yellow ball! Following the Brad Gilbert Tennis Experience we will break off into a dingles tournament for experienced high level players, and King of The Court and open play for those that want more tennis!

Exact Schedule is subject to change but these are the brass tacks:
9 am- Check In
10 am-11:30 am- 90 minute clinic featuring the Pepperdine Men's team and coaching staff with Brad floating from court to court giving hands on personal instruction.
12 -1pm- Winning Ugly chat and Q&A over light bites with Brad
1:30 -3pm- MONEY DINGLES TOURNAMENT for advanced players-combined 9.0 minimum level . Prize money amount is TBD depending on amount of entrants.
1:30-3pm- King of The Court/Free Play for those not playing dingles
3-4pm- One Point Slam for cash prizes to the winners

Info: 90 minute clinic on multiple courts featuring The Pepperdine Men's Team running the court, with Brad floating- giving unique salient instruction. Players will be broken by level.

Info: The new sensation in fun formats, the One Point Slam is literally a tournament where you play one point to advance. Nerves will be on display right from the first round. It's fast and unpredictable and we can't wait to see what shakes out.
