The Academic Symposium sponsored by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s Office of African American Ministries and the University of Dayton will be held on Friday, November 22 – Saturday, November 23. The symposium will feature keynote speakers Dr. Kim R. Harris, Most Rev. Edward K. Braxton, and Rev. Dr. Joseph A. Brown, SJ, as well as breakout presenters Dr. Deanna Witkowski, LaRyssa D. Herrington and Dr. Byron Wratee, Dr. Kevin Johnson, Nick Wagner, Dr. Darnell St. Romain and Dr. Darrell St. Romain, and Daryl Grigsby and Dr. Cynthia Bailey Manns. A summative panel discussion will also take place, discussing the legacies of Fr. Rivers and WWHSH. Additionally, there will be a symposium art installation by Mr. Johnathon Kelso titled
