ABSTRACT Spring Art Workshop for Adults
đź“… Sunday, March 29, 2026
🕑 12:30 – 2:00 PM
📍 Fort York Library
Step into a calm, creative space and explore the beauty of abstraction through a soothing palette aka Gustav Klimt.
In this relaxed, guided session, we’ll experiment with colour, layering, and intuitive mark-making—drawing inspiration from the feeling of early spring, fresh growth, and the endless tones of yellow, green and even gold. Whether you’re imagining blooming landscapes or ocean horizons, you’ll be encouraged to follow your own creative direction.
No experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
What you’ll experience:
• A gentle introduction to abstract art techniques
• Colour mixing and expressive layering with acrylics
• Freedom to create intuitively, without rules or pressure
• Support and guidance from a professional artist throughout
Details:
• Open to all levels—perfect for beginners and experienced creatives
• All materials included (acrylic paints, canvas, brushes)
• Create your own artwork to take home
