It's Family Art Workshop with Angels Gate Cultural Center!
Angels Gate offers monthly free art workshops. All are welcome. Art activities for kids and adults, ages 1 to 101!
¡Es el Taller de Arte Familiar con el Centro Cultural Angels Gate!
Angels Gate ofrece mensualmente talleres de arte gratuitos. Todos son bienvenidos. Actividades artísticas para niños y adultos, ¡de 1 a 101 años!
Participants will design and construct a free-standing, non-figurative abstract paper sculpture using techniques from collage and 3D construction (tabs, slots, flanges, wrapping), incorporating translucent tissue “windows” and strong structural bases. We will explore light, transparency, and layering with tissue paper using both cut and hand-torn collage techniques.
Los participantes diseñarán y construirán una escultura abstracta de papel, independiente y no figurativa, utilizando técnicas de collage y construcción tridimensional (lengüetas, ranuras, rebordes, envoltura), incorporando «ventanas» de papel de seda translúcido y bases estructurales resistentes.Exploraremos la luz, la transparencia y las capas con papel de seda, utilizando técnicas de collage tanto con recortes como con trozos rasgados a mano.

Meet your teacher in Building A's Gallery and we will walk over to our classroom in Building G.

All materials are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Pets are not allowed inside our galleries or classrooms.
