Excited to be joining forces with Lost Property for this awesome double bill of two really interesting experimental duosABLE NOISE
Able Noise are a cross-continent duo based between The Hague (NL) and Athens (GR), built around the unique baritone guitar and drum playing of George Knegtel and Alex Andropoulos. They bring a vibey and emotional almost falling apart sound into what could be mistaken for pop songs but not really hehe! They have been getting alot of love with a super double spread in Wire Magazine fairly recently.
They say “Through the use of voices, tapes and alternative methods of playing their instruments, they create a minimal and visual performance exploring the acoustics of space, the roles of performer and audience, and the physicality of performing”
This show helps celebrate 10 years of their rad cassette focussed Scottish record label GLARC – we recommend getting your teeth into their catalogue!

Emilie Skrijelj & Tom Malmendier duo
Emilie Skrijelj and Tom Malmendier began to work together in 2019, as “Les Marquises” – an electric and intense duo in which Emilie plays turntable, amplified accordion and electronics, and Tom plays the drums.
In parallel of this duo, they developed other projects in collaboration with international musicians, such as Michael Thieke, Otomo Yoshihide, Christine Abdelnour, Angelica Castello, Mike Ladd, and more.
Lately they wanted to explore a more acoustic duo, with only snare drum for Tom, and a small portable turntable for Emilie, mostly played with objects. Watch the videos below to get an idea of what is created when these two brilliant musicians join forces with limited instrumentation.
Their last record “Live in Nickelsdorf” was just released on their own label “eux sæm”.
