Abilities Tennis Clinics in Wilmington, Empie Park

Thanks to our partnership with the Wilmington Parks and Recreation Department, Abilities Tennis clinics are held at Empie Park on Thursdays from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm until May 28.

You may register as an athlete or volunteer for one or more of the clinics. Each clinic is listed individually. Please sign up at least 4 days before the clinic if you are not signing up for all of them. Even if you have been participating, please register so we can plan accordingly each week for an optimum experience for all.

Parents and caregivers are asked to stay during the clinic. No experience is necessary. Equipment and volunteer buddies are provided.

Abilities Tennis Association of North Carolina's mission is to promote fitness, foster community, and champion inclusion for athletes with intellectual disabilities through the adaptive sport of tennis. Free tennis clinics are provided for athletes of all levels ages 8 and up. Participants will learn the fundamentals, play games, and have fun.
