Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). One of the ways we can “remain” or “abide” in Jesus is through prayer. At times, prayer resembles Jacob wrestling with God or the persistent widow before the judge. Other times, it is a peaceful surrender to God’s overwhelming welcome. We will explore and create space for a variety of prayers. Join Pastor Kyle on Tuesdays from 12:15pm to 12:45pm in the lounge, beginning September 16.
