Join Greyhope Bay during Aberdeen Science Festival powered by Techfest 2024, as we explore the amazing beaches that surround the Greyhope Bay Centre! During this guided beach walk, we'll discover what has been washed up on the shore by the late summer tides. We'll also spend some time identifying your finds and learning more about the creatures that call our coast home. What will you find?Weather permitting, we will also spend some time exploring the nearby rock pools!
Please note: Due to storm activity earlier in the year, beach access may be eroded which means we will be walking across rocky, uneven ground to reach the beach.
All equipment will be provided, but participants are asked to wear sturdy, enclosed footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.
This event is suitable for children aged 5+. All children must be accompanied by a participating adult.
