Patrick Foisey, CMI, HCI-R/C/W, FSRT, is a Senior Building Envelope & Roofing Expert and a Founder of TRAVIS Engineering Inc. With more than 30 years of experience and over 15,000 commercial and residential assessments completed, Patrick is widely recognized for his expertise in roofing systems, building envelope performance, moisture intrusion, and catastrophe-related damage. He has represented insurers and legal professionals on complex losses, including wildfire, tornado, hurricane, and structural failure claims. Patrick’s background also includes extensive instruction through industry associations, franchisors, insurers, and inspection programs, where he has helped elevate standards in roofing, inspection practice, and forensic methodology. His practical insight and investigative depth make him a highly respected voice in Canada’s property and claims industries.
Thomas Morawiec is a highly skilled professional with over a decade of expertise in the insurance restoration and construction industries. His unique value lies in a powerful combination of formal education in Civil Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and 11 years of hands-on experience as a cost consultant and damage appraiser.Thomas has been at the forefront of some of Western Canada's most significant and complex loss events. His portfolio includes managing the large-scale restoration of the Calgary Zoo after the 2013 floods, coordinating repairs for multiple hotels and apartment complexes following the Fort McMurray fires and floods, and overseeing the restoration of high-end custom homes affected by the Kelowna wildfires. Furthermore, he has extensive experience assessing and managing substantial hail loss claims, having appraised and consulted on projects with values of up to $5 million. This deep background in managing urgent, high-stakes projects is complemented by his strong technical acumen. Thomas is currently applying his expertise as a Quantity Surveyor on a substantial $30 million hotel renovation project in Jasper, ensuring budgetary precision and cost control from conception to completion.
