What is the training about?
ABC Pro: Person-centered. Professional excellence is an engaging and practical training designed to build confidence, competence, and calmness in those who support individuals living with dementia. Through three core modules—Attitudes, Brain & Behaviour, and Communication—participants will explore stigma reduction, understand the impact of dementia on the brain, learn how to interpret responsive behaviours, and gain hands-on tools for compassionate, trauma-informed, person-centred communication.

This training is ideal for anyone in a helping role—healthcare workers, social service providers, community organization staff, and other professionals who interact with persons living with dementia or their caregivers. Whether you're new to dementia care or seeking to deepen your practice, this session offers meaningful insights and support strategies for all experience levels.
