Abbey House is part of national Heritage Open Days this year. Join us for a tour of the house and gardens, learn about the various inhabitants of this 19th century mansion over the years, some of its hidden features, and what we use the house for today!This is an exciting opportunity to explore a part of the abbey estate not normally open to the public.
Tours run hourly on Monday 15th September and Tuesday 16th September. Each tour lasts 45 minutes with a further 15 minutes to browse our information panels and artefacts from the collection.
-Admission is free, accessible, and by timed tour only. Booking is recommended at https://glastab.be/abbeyhousetours
-Walk-ups may be accepted on the day if there is space remaining.
-Refreshments will be available to purchase.
Please note that entry is from Chilkwell Street (postcode BA6 8DH), not Glastonbury Abbey.
