President Townsend recently completed her doctorate and is associated with the Gidutikad Paiute, Ft. Bidwell Indian Community. CINC is a local two year degree institution located near the UCR Palm Desert Campus and offers a culturally responsive academic curriculum rooted in Native American values and integrates Native American cultures, tradition and languages in higher education. CINC receives support and funding from local tribes. CINC also offers adult education program in partnership with the Coachella Valley Unified School District.
