The AARP Smart Driver course, brought to you by AARP Driver Safety, is the nation's first and largest refresher course designed specifically for older drivers. For more than 40 years, millions of people have used this course to update their driving knowledge and skills so they can continue driving safely for as long as possible. The course provides a review of driving skills and techniques as well as strategies and tips to help you adjust to normal age-related changes that may affect your driving ability. • Refresh your driving skills and knowledge of the rules of the road.
• Learn techniques for handling left turns, right-of-way, and roundabouts.
• Discover proven driving methods to help keep your loved ones safe on the road.
• The AARP Smart Driver classroom course could even help you save on your car insurance.
Our goal is for you to become an even safer driver through this program and our additional resources, like the Safe Driver Guidebook and the Future Actions Worksheet. Both are included with the course.
The fee is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members. The class lasts a little over four hours and starts at 12:30 on Friday, April 17. We hope you'll join us!
