Antidote Danmark invites you to an afternoon of tips and tricks for creating safer, more supportive party environments. You’ll gain knowledge on how to recognise and respond to an overdose, and how to take care of yourself and others in the nightlife and during the upcoming festival season. The event takes place on May 28th at Det Turkise Telt, Vester Allé 15, 8000 Aarhus C, from 17:00–20:00, featuring a talk and a DJ set. The presentation runs from 17:00–18:30, followed by mingling, free food, and the option to purchase drinks. This event is for you if you are a volunteer, security staff, first responder, employee, or guest at festivals or in the nightlife. During the session, you will be introduced to:- The most common signs of an overdose—and how to respond quickly and correctly
- An update on trends and substances currently shaping the nightlife and drug scene
- Practical guidance on how to use Antidote (naloxone) nasal spray—which can reverse an overdose within minutes
- Distribution of Antidote kits
The course combines knowledge, concrete tools, and real-life examples, ensuring that participants leave better equipped to create safer environments—and, in the worst-case scenario, save lives.
The event will be held in English if there are English-speaking participants. No registration required.
