About this Event
Join us for a special AAPI Heritage Month Educational Forum in partnership with the Asian Art Museum.
This engaging talk, Art Across Asia: Masterpieces of the Asian Art Museum, explores what makes a “masterpiece.” Why are some works elevated while others are not? Through a selection of extraordinary objects from the museum’s collection, this presentation invites us to consider these questions while experiencing the beauty and craftsmanship of Asian art.
Encounter stunning statues, ancient bronzes, mystic jade, delicate ceramics, and evocative paintings that showcase the richness and diversity of artistic traditions across Asia.
This forum will be led by Jane Dalisay from the Asian Art Museum’s Community Speakers Program.
This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
