Described by Kerrang! as the "High Priestess of gothic melancholy," today marks the release of Solstice, the brand new studio album from London-based musician A.A. Williams.Building on the engrossing sound world established with previous efforts Forever Blue (2020) and As the Moon Rests (2022), the new record is another stunning showcase of vocal power, sonic design and raw emotion, expertly blending elements of ethereal dreampop, post-rock experimentation and crushing metal. It's a sound that's drawn comparisons to artists such as Emma Ruth Rundle, Chelsea Wolfe and Anna von Hausswolff, and seen her tour with the likes of Cult of Luna, Explosions in the Sky, Russian Circles, Sleep Token and Sisters of Mercy.
To celebrate Solstice's release, we're excited to announce that A.A. Williams will be joining us instore at Reflex at 5pm on Thursday 18th June, where she'll be treating us to an intimate performance and signing session.
