A250 - Drake Day: Celebrating America's 250th

Join us for our annual Drake Day event on August 9, 2026, as we celebrate the 250th birthday of America! America's history is filled with industrial innovation, and nowhere is that more evident than in the birth of the early petroleum industry, right in the heart of northwestern Pennsylvania! Drake Day 2026 will explore some of the many "firsts" of the oil industry developed in the Valley that Changed the World - the Oil Region National Heritage Area, beginning with Drake Well in 1859. The day will feature living history demonstrations, reenactors, and more. Regular admission rates apply.
