About this Event
Learn to make Filipino Taho from the A-Z World Food recipe and food culture database. This dish of Filipino Silken Tofu with Tapioca and Syrup, is a popular street food sold around the Philippines . Served warm, taho is eaten at breakfast when early morning vendors go around the streets with the cry of “Tahoooo!” to sell this wholesome, affordable treat. Taho can also be served chilled and can be a snack at any time of the day. Taho is believed to have originated from the Chinese influence on Filipino cuisine. It's enjoyed throughout the country, particularly in residential areas, near schools, and in markets. Demonstration with sampling included. Learn how to use the A-Z databases for your own food projects too! 18+
