About this Event
Believing is having confidence in the truth or the existence of something, but without absolute proof. Much of the mystery of life relies on believing, including the magic of the holiday season. From the story of the birth of Christ, to belief in things we cannot see, to celebrations passed down through generations and even the hope of peace, OurSong celebrates believing in our holiday concert.
In addition to familiar classical and pop holiday songs, we explore beliefs further with a Lakota Sioux chant, a traditional Iraqi song, and writings from the Holocaust. Joined by the Gate City Brass ensemble as well as organ, piano and percussion, we celebrate living our lives with faith and hope for the future.
