About this Event
Led by Pedestrian Wine and Cheese Shop owner and cheesemonger Bill Reed, this interactive class will guide you step-by-step through the process of making fresh mozzarella from scratch. You’ll learn how to stretch, shape, and perfect this classic Italian cheese—famous for its soft, pillowy texture and rich, milky flavor. Enjoy samples while Bill shares tips, techniques, and insights from his more than 20 years in the food and beverage industry, helping you build confidence in your cheesemaking skills.
Whether you’re a total beginner or a curious home cook, you’ll leave with the knowledge (and satisfaction!) of crafting your own fresh mozzarella AND your very own raw curd to make into a one pound ball when you get home!
This is a BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage) event! Feel free to bring wine, beer, or your drink of choice to enjoy during the class. Not sure what pairs well with mozzarella? Stop by Pedestrian Wine & Cheese and get some recommendations!
As a special bonus, it's also Bill’s birthday—so come help us celebrate with plenty of mozzarella, drinks, and good vibes!
