A Vulture for All Seasons
Wildlife Wednesday on March 12 features two of the largest birds you will see in the skies over Harris County -- the Black Vulture and the Turkey Vulture.
A common sight both in the air and on roadsides feasting on carron, these elegant birds play a vital part in keeping the ecosystem healthy. Both the Black Vulture and Turkey Vulture can be seen in Jesse Jones Park.
