About this Event
Join a group of adults for a fun geocaching adventure in Jesse Jones Park and Nature Center. This event is for brand new to experienced geocachers. Whether you're new to the area or a longtime resident, this event is the perfect opportunity to get out into nature, connect with others, and get some exercise. Don't miss out on making new connections in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Geocaching is an outdoor treasure hunt where participants use a cell phone or a hand-held GPS to find hidden containers, called geocaches. It's a fun way to explore the outdoors and use GPS (Global Positioning System) technology.
Wear hiking boots or sturdy shoes and long pants as we will be wandering off the main paths. Bring a fully charged cell phone with the geocaching app downloaded on it and a user name created. It is also recommended to bring water and a pen. Meet at 9:50 am in front of the restrooms in the parking lot.
