A first for The Jamlot! Share a verse so supreme with us!
Join us on Wednesday, November 13th, at Makana Kava Gastrobar (@makanakavabar), for an evening of poetic exploration and connection, and where words flow as freely as the kava! The Jamlot (@thejamlot) is thrilled to present A Verse Supreme, our newest monthly gathering, where poets and poetry lovers alike can create, collaborate, and connect in a welcoming atmosphere. Hosted by established poet SublimeLuv (@queensublimeluv) & The Jamlot's own Jose Maestri (@josemaestri), the event will start at 9pm and be filled with so many opportunities to literally wax poetic!
Here’s what you can expect:
- 📝 Writing Workshop: Hone your craft with exercises and guidance, designed for both beginners and seasoned poets.
- 🎙️ Open Mic: Share your voice, express yourself, and listen to others’ unique creations.
- 🌟 Featured Poet Performance: Experience the powerful poetry of SublimeLuv herself as our inaugural guest!
This is the first event of its kind for both Makana Kava Gastrobar and The Jamlot! So whether you’re a curious beginner or a lifelong wordsmith, this free event invites you to step out of your comfort zone, try something new, and leave with new friends, new poetry, and a shared experience.
