About this Event
A Valentine's Day Companion: The Heart of Connection is part of Healing 101, a series of workshops designed to integrate healing and awakening into your daily life. No prior experience is needed; students and practitioners of the healing arts are also welcome. These workshops are open to people of all faiths and spiritual traditions, including zero faith or spiritual impulse beyond coffee.
The topics will differ from session to session, but the overall aim of the series is to help you access more freedom and creativity, deepen your innate compassion and kindness, and discover more of your true nature.
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Whether you’re single or in a relationship, it can be hard to escape the barrage of commercial reminders that magnify our longing for connection, and/or drive us deeper into exile for harboring those feelings. How can we connect when we are so keenly aware of our own limitations and the limitations of others?
Come light the lamp of healing and awakening as we approach Valentine’s Day. Together we will follow the trail of “conversation hearts” back to the heart of connection.
FORMAT
This workshop will include a short lecture, group discussion, and an in-class practice that you can continue beyond the classroom. Class size is limited, to foster small-group intimacy and connection.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
