Detroit, MI — Monday, January 12, 2026 — The Preservation of Jazz Monday Night Music Series proudly presents A Tribute to Chaka Khan, an electrifying celebration of the Queen of Funk, Soul, and R&B. This unforgettable evening takes place at Aretha’s Jazz Café, located inside the historic Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts in Detroit.
Doors open at 6:00 PM, with showtime at 7:30 PM. The evening will be hosted by the incomparable Mike Bonner, and will open with a special performance by Sky Covington, Detroit’s award-winning jazz vocalist, producer, and visionary behind The Preservation of Jazz.
