What better way to get into the festive spirit than following the nativity story throughout the town, taking part in festive crafts, singing carols and drinking mulled wine! Over the weekend of 14th and 15th December, the Weymouth churches and busineses will come together to host scenes from the nativity story, as well as undertake crafts, create the BIGGEST STAR, and even dress up, take selfies and feed some animals. This is a beautiful and interactive way to hear the Christmas story and get involved in more traditional Christmas activities. This festive event will culminate on the Saturday with carols in Hope Square, supported by the Salvation Army Band plus mulled wine and mincepies supplied by local businesses. On the Sunday there are many opportunities to attend one of the local churches holding advent services and carol services. On Sunday afternoon there is a new event to 'follow the star' at 3pm and parade from Westham rd (dressed as a nativity character) to The town bridge with the BIGGEST STAR 🌟 leading the parade (created on the Saturday) ending at the Christmas tree festival in Holy Trinity Church. Will you join in?
