Synopsis: In our tale the well known Ebenezer Scrooge becomes Ezequiel Codos an RGV attorney and powerful water broker whose greed threatens to dry up the famous Rio Grande River.
Codos, a bitter, greed-driven man has spent his life chasing wealth at the cost of happiness. As he grows older, his ruthless ways remain unshaken—until three magical spirits intervene. Among them are La Rielera, a brave soldier from the Mexican Revolution, and the enchanting singer Selena.
Through their visits, he begins to experience the power of love and the joys of life, realizing just how much he’s missed. Along the way, he discovers the true taste of happiness—and the undeniable allure of Turkey and Tamales, especially when shared.
This exciting and fun story, told predominately in English, is reflective of RGV culture and humor, shared with the world.
