A Taste of Vienna in Melbourne! Join us for the second instalment of our FREE concerts celebrating Viennese culture.
Sunday 22 September 2:30pm
Outstanding pianist Alan Kogosowski will perform classical music from Vienna on the afternoon of the 25th of August. The recital will feature a number of Viennese composers including Mozart, Schubert, Brahms, Lehar and Lowe. Soprano Elizabeth Finkel will join him in vocal excerpts.
The event will be held at the beautiful Stonnington Community Uniting Church and will conclude with tea, coffee and traditional Viennese plum cake in the Duldig Studio sculpture garden.
The Duldig Studio, museum and sculpture garden, showcases the life and art of sculptor Karl Duldig and his wife, Slawa Horowitz-Duldig who were established artists in Vienna before the 2nd World War. Like many post-war migrants, they introduced European culture and modernism to Australia. This event celebrates Viennese music and art.
Alan’s previous concerts for the Duldig Studio were total sell-outs so make sure to register early!
