About this Event

This talk will take you through the pages of Honey magazine, exploring how it

developed a new way of speaking to teenage and young women as fashionable,

‘get-a-head' girls. Honey’s innovative marketing collaborations transferred this

vibrancy and excitement from the page to shop floor and town hall, opening up a

world of consumer innovation and expertise to young women in suburbs and cities

up and down the country.

Dr Fan Carter is Head of the School of Arts at Kingston School of Art, She is

currently writing a book length study of Honey magazine.
