Join Us for A Taste of Care!
A Taste of Care aims to celebrate the diversity of Cardiff & The Vale’s care workforce through the mediums of food and dance in the heart of one of Cardiff’s most culturally diverse communities. The event will showcase performances from Eastern inspired dancers (with the incorporation of Welsh folklore and history), and Afro-Caribbean style drummers. There will be workshops and educational talks as part of these performances.
African & Eastern dishes will be available to those who attend, in both a buffet and plated dish format. Local authority partners from across the region will be invited to showcase their work and employment opportunities within their departments, with the work WeCare Wales delivers to the Welsh care sector being celebrated throughout the whole event. There will be a station for existing carers to express an interest in WeCare Wales ambassadorship and learn more about the work that goes on behind the scenes to promote & support care work across Wales.
