The Amalthea Ensemble is going on tour in aid of Joy of Learning! Alice Cheer (cello) and Meg Diamond (flute) will be joined by clarinettist Will Hammond. The programme will include a wide range of chamber music by composers such as Bach, Bartok and Asha Srinivasan, plus a brand-new commission by Millicent B James. All proceeds will go to Joy of Learning (charity no: 1194700) which supports the education and wellbeing of children previously cared for by Sanyu Babies’ Home in Kampala, Uganda. Join us for a wonderful afternoon of live music, and help to change the lives of children who now live all over Uganda.
