About the walk
Join Neal Glucksmann-Smith to walk half of the Epping Forest Big Walk starting from the north. This will be a longer walk (about 7 miles) with moderate pace where you will go through some of the oldest parts of the Forest.
Please note that this walk will not finish at the starting point. Bring water, snacks, lunch. Lunch break at High Beach. Moderate.
What to bring / wear
- Bring water, snacks, lunch.
- Walking sticks if you need them
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Weather proof and study footware as some parts can be muddy and slippery
Finish
- This walk will not finish at the starting point. We will finish at Queen Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge at Chingford, which is about 8 mins walk to Chingford Station (Overground Weaver Line)
