What does this workshop cover?Our lovely seven week watercolour course commences on the 18th March and runs each week from 6pm to 8.30pm This is a great learn how to paint with watercolours for those who enjoy following guidance and having a tutor who gives tips and advice throughout each session. You will learn how to embrace and rectify mistakes as well as celebrating your achievements. During each week you will follow a step by step painting demonstration tutorial with individual guidance. This is a great way to gain confidence in your work. You will be learning how to emphasis the quality of light, create depth of colour and develop your techniques to create textures in your compositions. We will continue to pain images typical of the season, expanding our experimental and traditional painting techniques.
What you need to bring
Please bring with you your current watercolours, brushes and paper.
Who the workshop is suitable for
This is a good course for those who have completed our beginners watercolour course or workshops or have experience using watercolours and want to consolidate what they have learnt and find their own style. It’s great for those who have a good level of understanding of watercolours but want the social aspect and support from a tutor.

Our lovely tutor Jennie, who is a very experienced watercolour artist.
Other things you need to know
All workshops are run at LilyBoo, Lostwithiel on the upstairs floor. There is a steep flight of stairs up to the workshop area but once there you will have everything you need, from a small kitchen for tea and coffee along with a bathroom. The workshops at LilyBoo have bought together people for a chat, to learn something new and there is always lots of laughter.
