Most grains in whisky are grown industrially, with chemicals. This results in the same grain, all at the same height with the same flavour.
Not at Fielden. Following the discovery of hundreds of perfectly preserved ancient cereals in a thatched roof, the team developed a heritage grain growing system. They're regenerating England’s fields with diverse grains grown in clover - a chemical-free and artificial fertiliser-free approach.
It’s a more sustainable way of farming that’s better for the soil, the grain and the wildlife. And it makes a whisky full of flavour.
But don't just take their word for it. We invite you to join us in the Food & Drink Studio at Fortnum's to taste the Fielden range, along with some food pairings.
