Step into the magic of the holidays with this unforgettable dance experience inspired by the world-famous Radio City Rockettes. Young dancers will learn authentic precision dance technique directly from former Rockette Jennifer Rias, founder of The Broadway Edge, a training organization that provides industry informed experiences, professional development, and mentorship for emerging performers.
This class is also a perfect way to get back into the studio during that pre–New Year lull and enjoy Broadway level training right in your backyard.
This 2.5-hour masterclass begins inside the state-of-the-art dance studios at the Seton Hill University Performing Arts Center. Participants will take a 90-minute precision dance class and learn choreography styled after the iconic Christmas Spectacular. After class, the group will travel to the historic Palace Theatre for an exclusive onstage moment to perform the routine. Dancers will then enjoy a 25-minute Q and A with Jennifer, followed by an autograph and photo opportunity. Every participant will receive their own “Rockette Red” lipstick as a special keepsake.
This experience is part of The Academy at Westmoreland Cultural Trust’s Broadway to the Palace Masterclass Series, presented in collaboration with Seton Hill University and The Broadway Edge.

⭐ ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: JENNIFER RIAS
Jenn was in the Original Broadway Companies of The Cher Show, Escape to Margaritaville, War Paint, and Aladdin, and made her Broadway debut in Rock of Ages. She was also a World-Famous Radio City Rockette and is featured on the Radio City Christmas Spectacular 75th Anniversary DVD.
Her choreography credits include:
• A Doll’s House with Jessica Chastain (Broadway)
• International Premiere of Beaches the Musical (Theatre Calgary)
• Tootsie (Moonlight Stage Productions, Ogunquit Playhouse)
• Spamalot (Ogunquit Playhouse)
Jenn is currently the Associate Choreographer for the U.S. Tour, Australian, and upcoming Vienna companies of Beauty and the Beast. She also served as Associate Choreographer for the North American tours of Aladdin and Dear Evan Hansen.
