You are invited to celebrate a 19th century Easter Sunday with two Flint landmarks that share a common bond. Join Whaley Historic House and St. Paul's Episcopal Church for a special Easter Eucharist in the formal parlor of the home of Robert and Mary McFarlan Whaley.
After the short service, learn about the Whaley family, the historic home on Kearsley Street, and the shared history with St. Paul's Episcopal Church. At St. Paul’s, the Whaley/McFarlan family is remembered in the ‘Five Sisters’ Chapel where Mr. Whaley served for many years as vestryman. One of the beautiful stained glass windows in the chapel is a memorial that was given in memory of Donald, Robert and Mary’s son who died at age 10.
This is a free service. All are welcome.
While optional, guests are invited to dress in their Victorian Sunday best and Easter bonnets!
