A Sacred Celebration of Honor: Celebrating 10 Years of Leadership

This year, our convocation will be especially meaningful as we celebrate 10 years of faithful, visionary, and sacrificial leadership by our beloved Diocesan leaders, Bishop Dr. Robert Terry, Jr. and First Lady Ivoria Terry.

The Word of God teaches us in Romans 13:7 to “render… honor to whom honor is due,” and again in 1 Thessalonians 5:12–13, to esteem those who labor among us “very highly in love for their work’s sake.” As a Diocese, we recognize that honoring our leaders is not only appropriate—it is biblical. It is a reflection of our love, our gratitude, and our understanding of spiritual covering.
