About this Event

We'll celebrate 8 singular fiction writers and poets as they conclude their time in the program. Come find your new favorite writer!

Ingrid Piña is a poet from Houston, Texas. Her debut chapbook, Ragweed Body, was published through the National Federation of State Poetry Societies, winning the Edna Meudt Memorial Award. Her work also appears in the 2024 Oberon poetry magazine.

Paige Ellen Passantino (she/hers) is an MFA candidate in poetry at Johns Hopkins University, where she teaches creative writing. She earned her BA in literature from Smith College. Her work appears on Poets.org and in The Florida Review, SHŌ Journal, and Pinhole, among others. She is a nominee for 2025 Best of the Net, an honoree for the 2023 Adroit Prize, and her work has been supported by Tin House.

Lucy Silbaugh's poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The Iowa Review, the TLS, Gulf Coast, The Bennington Review, and Subtropics.

Adriana Beltrano is a Floridian poet and a Managing Editor of The Hopkins Review. She was a 2024-25 Jake Adam York Prize finalist, was selected by Diane Seuss as an honorable mention for the 2025 Elinor Benedict Poetry Prize, and is a 2025 Best of the Net nominee. Her work can be found in Hayden's Ferry Review, Passages North, and The Baltimore Review.

Yastika Guru is a writer from India.

Ivan Suazo is a Dominican American fiction writer from New York City. His fiction has been supported by the Kenyon Writers Workshop and has appeared in Epiphany, Salamander, Hayden’s Ferry Review, and The Pinch.

Iris Lee is an MFA candidate in fiction at Johns Hopkins University. They are a Chaffee Writing Prize recipient with work forthcoming in Fence.

Sebastian Witherspoon is a fiction writer from Hamilton, New York.
