This event combines standard matched play structure with immersive environmental rules that will apply to all three rounds.

⚔ Army Selection
750 points
Armies must use current official Matched Play rules and publications
Any official army list may be selected
Models should be WYSIWYG where reasonably possible
Fully painted armies are strongly encouraged (but not mandatory)
🌧 The Yorkshire Weather Rules
Due to relentless rain and flooding, the following special rules apply in all three games:
☔ Torrential Rain
All shooting attacks suffer –1 To Hit.
Applies to bows, crossbows, thrown weapons, siege weapons, and magical shooting attacks.
🕊 Sodden Wings
Models with the Fly special rule may move a maximum of 6" when flying.
They still ignore terrain as normal unless otherwise specified by the scenario.
🌊 Flooded Battlefield
Every table will include:
At least one river running from one board edge to the opposite edge
Additional water features (marshland, ponds, flooded ruins, swollen streams)
River Conditions
Use standard river rules from the main rulebook, with the following addition:
Rivers are considered fast-flowing.
If a model is Knocked Prone while in the river, it immediately suffers a Strength 3 hit (representing debris and current).
🗺 Scenarios
Three Matched Play scenarios suitable for 750 points.
Example selection:
Game 1 – Domination
Game 2 – To the Death
Game 3 – Reconnoitre
Final scenario pack will be confirmed prior to the event.
🌍 Terrain
Tables will feature:
A major river crossing the board
At least one bridge or ford
Marshland (difficult terrain)
Flooded ruins
Swollen streams
Players are welcome to bring thematic movement trays if desired.
