When renowned Paris-based psychiatrist Lilian Steiner (Jodie Foster) learns of the death of one of her patients, she is deeply troubled.Convinced that it was murder, she decides to investigate with help from her ex-husband Gabriel (Daniel Auteuil), tumbling further down the rabbit hole in the process, as the mystery unravels with unexpected results.
Writer-director Rebecca Zlotowski channels Alfred Hitchcock with this playful murder mystery, combining dark humour and exhilarating thrills to delightfully entertaining effect. With a superb performance from legendary two-time Oscar®-winner Jodie Foster (in her first French-language role) the film features a supporting cast which is a who’s-who of A-list French acting royalty including Daniel Auteuil, Virginie Efira and Mathieu Amalric.
