About this Event
The Open Gov Hub is excited to host a free keynote talk with Dan Freehling of Contempus Leadership and Spencer Campbell of SCTA. This event will be specifically tailored to help those affected by the recent changes in the social sector.
If you have been recently laid off from your global development, public service, or social impact job and are looking for practical steps to land your next role while staying true to your values - THIS EVENT WILL HELP YOU.
Bad job search advice is rampant. Many well-intentioned coaches want to believe that the job search is all about your mindset, while resume writers sell you on “beating the ATS” with a shiny rewrite. These both miss the mark and lead to a long, painful job hunt.
We’ve developed a completely different and counterintuitive approach. It comes from what we’ve learned supporting hundreds of social impact professionals. As so many of our clients, friends, and former colleagues enter the market, we want to get this into the hands of everyone who needs it free of charge.
Our model is based on two truths: the job search requires both undergoing a personal transformation and finding your place in the job market. To land your next job faster, and come out better for the experience: Hunt Like a Hero, Apply Like a Scientist.
This event will be specifically tailored to help those affected by the recent changes in the social sector.
Light refreshments will be served.
NOTE: There are two separate time slots for this event. Each time will present the same information. Please choose your ticket based on your availability.
