Stevie Rae Stephens, Sean Cunningham, and Kiernan McMullan have been playing together for the last 3 years in Nashville! The friendship runs deeper than the harmonies. The three songwriters began working together at a local bar in Nashville called Belcourt Taps. Before long, the three were running the bar and booking the music every weekend. It was in this time that they began singing and writing together and creating the first instance of Pindrop Songwriter Series, a night of music in Nashville named for its listening room environment and strong, supportive community of awe-inspiring songwriters. Over the years, the three have started touring the act as a Nashville writers round with a kick. You haven’t seen a writers’ round like this with harmonies, multi-instrumentals, and friendship. You can find us at Pindrop on Sundays at Cabana Taps in Nashville or on the road around the country!

Jefferson Rinck is a Michigan raised, Nashville based singer songwriter who has been penning songs with and for other artists for the last five years. Before focusing on songwriting, Jefferson spent the majority of his career playing in bands that have been privileged to share stages with acts like Local Natives, Mt Joy, Hippo Campus, The War & Treaty, Susto, and more! After years of basically living on the road, his career is finally evolving into a solo venture which has sonically been compared to the Americana stylings of David Ramirez, Donovan Woods and James Bay, with his first batch of songs releasing periodically throughout 2023

International award winning songwriter Katie Pederson is a pop-piano songstress with midwest Michigan roots. Having toured the country with her lyrical and vulnerable songwriting on display, she has shared the stage with artists such as Mason Jennings, Matt Giraud, and Kyshona Armstrong. Gaining inspiration from pop piano icons, Katie’s newest project “Limitless,” is sure to capture the hearts of fans of Carol King, The Chicks, and Elton John. The lyrics of weave stories that take us through the mountains of Western Canada, all the way through the forests and plains of the Northwest United States, resolving finally home, at the shores of Lake Michigan where she connected with producer Jake Rye, of Social Recording Company to record her new album, Limitless, which is now available. Katie released a brand new single, Abstract Art, on October 21, 2022. The new single signifies the turning of a page to a new chapter for the up and coming songwriter. While her journey has been years in the making, her story it seems is just beginning.

Award-winning folk-pop artist Genna Matthew finds the sonic sweet spot between timeless roots influences and dreamy indie-pop hooks. Her evocative lyrics and crystalline voice cut through the noise, straight to the core. Genna was raised by the vibrant Folk/Americana scene of central Virginia. Her bittersweet sound sugarcoats wistful lyrics with honey-smooth vocals. Her songwriting has been recognized both regionally and internationally, most recently as the Grand Prize Winner of Nashville’s Music City Songstar Competition. Her 2016 EP, ‘My Old Habits’, features a stellar cast of Virginia-rooted artists, including Johnny Stubblefield (Parachute), Sam Wilson (Sons of Bill), Chris Pandolfi (Infamous Stringdusters), Butch Taylor (Dave Matthews Band), and Matt Wood (Erin and the Wildfire). In 2018 she traded the Blue Ridge Mountains for the Spanish coast, where she completed her Masters in Contemporary Music Performance and Production at Berklee’s Valencia campus. Now based in Nashville, TN, Genna recently wrapped her first full-length record with producer Jake Finch. This forthcoming record is a vibrant departure from her Americana-forward EP, and explores a new sonic space that wraps her folk-inspired writing in a lush, indie-pop atmosphere.
