To prepare our hearts for Easter, students, faculty, staff, and ministry partners are invited to take part in a sacred walk through the heart of the city.

This year’s pilgrimage for Campus Ministry at the University of Toronto will journey to four historic downtown churches. Together, we will walk, pray, learn, and sing... strengthening our connection with one another and with the wider church community that surrounds and supports campus life.

Pilgrimage has long been a cherished Christian spiritual practice. For centuries, believers have marked holy seasons by setting out on foot, stepping away from routine, walking with intention, and embodying prayer through movement. During Lent especially, Christians have embraced acts of sacrifice and shared devotion as a way of drawing closer to God and to one another. This pilgrimage offers us such an opportunity: to give of our time and energy for a common purpose, to deepen community, and to support a ministry that accompanies students in some of the most formative years of their lives.

As we move from church to church, we will raise awareness about the vital work of Campus Ministry at the University of Toronto... a ministry of friendship, belonging, spiritual care, and courageous faith on campus. We will also celebrate and strengthen our relationships with local congregations, recognizing that campus ministry flourishes best when rooted in the wider body of Christ.

Pilgrims are invited to join us for all or part of the day. To participate, please register through our Eventbrite page. Please help raise support for campus ministry either through a $50 registration fee or by creating a personal fundraising page and inviting sponsors to support your pilgrimage walk.

This Lent, we invite you to walk with intention. Walk in prayer. Walk in solidarity. Walk in hope. And together, let us build up the Body of Christ while raising awareness and support for campus ministry at the University of Toronto.
