A new class by Master Artisan Lori.We will be using Peyote stitch to form a Pear shaped Bezel, to surround a Crystal Tear drop & create a beautiful pair of earrings.
This technique is invaluable to hold beads that may or may not have predrilled holes.
You will learn how to increase the bezel in certain spots and not in other spots to create the pear shaped base.
Then we will build the sides and the around the front to secure the glass pear shaped bead.
We will discuss the options for cabochons or drops that may vary in thickness.
You must know the Peyote stitch prior to this class.
You will go home with written instructions to refer to after you have left the class.
This is a more challenging stitch, it will help expand your beading knowledge and a must for bezeling beads with a tear drop shape.
PREREQUISITS: Peyote Stitich
TOOLS: Bead Mat, Fireline, Size 12 Needle, Beeswax thread condition
