Our Mission This Year: Protecting Children with Awareness
This year, proceeds from the evening will go towards funding the impactful video productions by RedM, which will be showcased on global platforms like Netflix and Hulu to raise awareness about human trafficking and the urgent need for child protection. Additionally, your support will help further the mission of The Houston 20, a dedicated network working to support survivors and drive critical awareness at local, state, and federal levels.
Dancing with a Purpose
This is why Undebel Flamenco partnered with Mavericks for the protection of children’s rights, working together to educate youth and raise awareness about the dangers of human trafficking. Through the power of dance, we aim to give a voice to the voiceless and inspire action. Mercy Renteria and Lydia Huang share a deep passion—not just for dance, but for dancing with a purpose. Their collaboration represents a commitment to using art as a platform to illuminate social issues, empower communities, and protect the most vulnerable—our children. By raising awareness, we are taking a stand to protect children, support survivors, and create a future free from exploitation.
