About this Event
On Saturday, May 9th, the Eureka Theater transforms into a stage for suspicion, deception, and democratic drama as another round of Humboldt County's most entertaining fundraiser returns. Local performers and elected officials take the stage to play Blood on the Clocktower — the wildly popular social deduction game of M**der and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception — performed live for an audience.
Blood on the Clocktower puts players in the roles of townsfolk trying to root out hidden demons among them. Watch as your favorite community leaders bluff, accuse, and defend themselves in real time, all while the audience follows every twist. Who will lie with a straight face? Who will crack under pressure? The only way to find out is to be there.
Whether you're a seasoned player or have never heard of the game, the night promises to be wildly entertaining. The format is designed for spectators — a narrator guides the action, and the drama unfolds onstage with all the tension of a M**der mystery dinner and the energy of live improv. Expect laughter, gasps, heated debates, and at least one shocking betrayal.
This is a fundraiser supporting two Humboldt County nonprofits. The Transparent Humboldt Coalition works to promote transparency, accountability, and integrity in local governance. The Eureka Theater is a beloved community venue that has hosted performances and gatherings for generations. Your attendance directly supports both organizations and the work they do for our community.
Doors open at 6:00 PM. The event is open to all ages and all levels of board game experience. Bring friends, bring curiosity, and come ready to watch your neighbors try to get away with M**der.
Tickets support a great cause. Don't miss this night of revelry and deception.
