Our upcoming Jazz Night is taking a modern twist with hip-hop instrumentals reimagined in a jazzy groove. Experience some of your favorites like never before, blending the smooth rhythms of jazz with the vibrant energy of hip-hop. Don’t miss out—join us for an unforgettable evening of music, vibes, and delicious cocktails.
Joan attended Oberlin College and Conservatory, where they studied jazz guitar and audio engineering. During their time at Oberlin Joan developed a robust repertoire of solo guitar playing, in addition to their experiences playing in small jazz, bosa nova, and hip-hop ensembles.
They also spent time working in the conservatory audio department, recording and cataloging student and faculty small classical and jazz performances. Now residing in Pomona, CA Joan regularly performs in solo and trio settings. They also perform with Dixie Reese’s band and in the house band at ‘the Gordon House'.
