Musician Honorees:
During the concert, we will honor the following distinguished musicians for their remarkable contributions to our local community and the music industry:
*Roy Durnal: A rhythm section mainstay in Claremont for over five decades, known for his work with Chris Darrow, John Harrelson, *Dave Mallard, Cindy Edwards, and currently with Squeakin' Wheels and Claremont Voodoo Society.
*Mick Rhodes: Guitarist and singer-songwriter, active since the 1980s, known for his band Human Therapy and his current performances with Mick Rhodes & the Hard Eight.
*Justin Andres: Accomplished session musician, bassist, guitarist, music director, and tour manager, currently with Australian guitar virtuoso Orianthi.
*Folk Music Center: Founded in 1958 by Charles and Dorothy Chase, this cornerstone of Southern California folk music is now managed by their daughter Ellen Chase-Verdries and owned by musician Ben Harper.
*David Lindley (in memoriam): Multi-instrumentalist and master of the lap steel guitar, known for his work with El Rayo-X, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, and more.
