For parents of children with special needs, finding meaningful support can be especially challenging. Good Ground Family Ministry is a new multi-parish initiative dedicated to building a Christ-centered community that walks alongside these families. We seek to offer practical resources, encouragement, and connection—so every child can grow and every family can be supported.Parents, children with additional support needs, and siblings are warmly invited to A Night of Connection on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 6–8 p.m. at St. Luke the Evangelist: Sts. John and Paul Campus. The evening will begin with a presentation by Father McCaffrey. This evening is about community, understanding, and belonging—a place to feel seen, supported, and connected within the Catholic Church.
Parents and caregivers will have the opportunity to connect with one another in a welcoming space while enjoying hors d’oeuvres provided by The Cheese Queen. Children with additional support needs will be cared for by trained, compassionate volunteers—including nurses, therapists, and special education professionals—who will provide safe, engaging activities. Siblings will enjoy age-appropriate activities designed to help them connect with peers who share similar experiences.
This inaugural event is open to 50 families; registration is required. A $30 donation per family is requested but not required. We are thrilled to welcome your family to this beautiful event!
